Putting down astroturf in the yard so I don’t ever have to mow again.

I have a lot of small projects that will equal one big project when I finally take them on; pictures to hang, end tables that I need to paint and tile, a rocking chair that I need to put together, a new bookshelf to buy and assemble, a bathroom cabinet to hang. Once I start all that, it may be a project-a-weekend until Thanksgiving.

Unfortunately, I can’t start all of that until after DragonCon, which is on Labor Day weekend. Everything goes towards DragonCon prep until then.

We don’t ever plan on buying a house unless we win a million dollars or something…it’s just never been a dream of ours…too much trouble and anymore there’s too little return.

Next apartment project, though, is to rearrange Nick’s clothes again. He grows out of stuff so friggin fast!

Word. Houses are boxes of chores. I look forward to the independence of a house one day, but I dread taking full responsibility for broken plumbing, AC, etc.

SELLING!!!! I always want to redo or paint something in our house, but now I’m content and don’t want to do anything until we SELL and move closer to Springfield/Ozark area.

      SELLING!
And purging our closets etc so that we have less stuff to move and/or store.

I don’t know. I’m tired of house projects! Eventually we really need to finish the master bathroom.

Right now we are trying to keep all the appliances going. Our beer fridge went out this weekend. Bad for two reasons, one because it was supplying the ice for the food fridge whose ice maker broke about two months ago and second because it means no beer fridge. My husbands solution…he cleaned up the pop machine in his shop, plugged it in and put all the pop/beer in it. So it has a root beer button, a 7up (sprite) button and two Bud Light buttons. It costs .50 to get one out. school supplies shoes and clothes. I can’t afford for any more appliances to quit working. My marriage is not strong enough for ice trays!

I’m currently lacquering wine crates to use as shelving for the office. A lot of crates. I’m planning on covering an entire wall with them. You can never have too much storage space.
