TRON!!! Because it was so ahead of its time and it’s super awesome.

Hmm, this is tough. I don’t guess I’m typically an action movie fan. I’ll go with “Pirates of the Carribean” (the first one) just cause of Johnny Depp. On shear movie quality I’ll say “The Score” with De Niro, Brando, and Norton-that movie was amazing!

Can’t pick just one. So, in no particular order:
Star Wars: Return of the Jedi – My favorite Star Wars film as a kid. I think it wraps up the plot of the series well, which is not always the case with trilogies.
Aliens – best of the Alien movies. It was made at a time when sci fi films were cast with normal-looking people, instead of being all about beautiful people getting blown up. To me, this made it easier to relate, and this film is about the normal, everyday guys and how decisions from above affect them.
    Plus, Newt is awesome.
Terminator 2: Judgment Day – The Terminator series at its best. I love it because it’s all about the importance of individual human lives.
Serenity – Primarily, I love it because it introduced me to the awesome Firefly series. It’s all about people who fight for a hopeless cause because they cannot stand by and just let things happen.

I HEART FIREFLY!!!!!!!!!! That was my very first sci-fi series to watch with Tim and I LOVED Serenity. 🙂

Speed. I still have a crush on Keanu Reeves because of that movie. And yes, my husband still makes fun of me for it. Duuude!

I second Shannon’s vote for Serenity-I ❤ Captain Malcom Reynolds!
In fact, now that I think of it, there are many attractive actors/and or characters on that show/movie that I love! Good choice Shannon!
I wanna add The Dark Night, and Gone in 60 Seconds, Snatch, and Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Oh, and DEATHPROOF! Is Fight Club an action movie?

    The Ghost and Mr. Chicken
If you can call it an action movie.

You get points for picking a Don Knotts movie 🙂

      • bigguyfroma said,

I have the entire reluctant Hero Pack!!!!

    Serenity.

There’s nothing else like it. It’s the only space movie that I know of where people are just trying to make a living. Nothing fancy. No X-wings. Just normal (and overly attractive) people on a cargo ship who get caught up in some bad stuff.

Oh, and I have a crush on Summer Glau.

    • Kel/y_H said,

She’ll be in the next season of Dollhouse, rumor has it.

  8. amber said,

    is that “river”?
    she’s pretty crush worthy.
    dan likes the automechanic girl.
i’m a fan of the companion-she’s so exotic with her fancy dresses and such.

    • enochfreeman said,

Yep. River. She’s also been playing a terminator in the Sarah Connor Chronicles. That whole Oaty Bar fight scene? They didn’t have to use a double or anything. She has a background in dance, so she gets fighting choreography pretty easily.

Oh, I also have a crush on Adam Baldwin (Jayne).

      • amber said,

yeah, river is pretty cool-love her in terminator.
        i’m afraid she’s typecast…
isn’t jayne the dumb brawny one?
i kinda like the dorky brain that is married to the hot warrior chick.

  9. Nicole said,

Die Hard 4. Really, any of the Die Hard movies, but especially number 4. Bruce Willis is my reason. And if you know me, that’s reason enough. 🙂

    First Place (tie)
The Usual Suspects: There’s no greater character of mystery than Kaiser Soze.

Dark Knight: Quite possibly may have redefined the superhero genre.

Garfield’s Halloween Adventure: Those pirates were creepy when I was 4.
