Snakes, spiders, a specific boss wandering around for no apparent reason, deadlines…

Snakes. I hate hate hate them. Also the smell of canned peas.

BTW…the smell is back. That’s something.

Kael has a habit of rubbing his eyes. Well, sometimes he wails after he does it and tightens his eyes big time. And it looks like they are bleeding. I have to have Tim check every time b/c I’m too sick to look to see. 😦 They’ve never bled or anything, but I just can’t handle that….

Praying mantis. Blood. My boss on a downward mood swing… 🙂 All these things.

Pictures of my friend’s stitched up toes on facebook. EW!
I’m very sensitive to sounds to-crying babies in restaurants or the worst-on planes, sports on TV, the sound of Dan’s electric shaver in the morning, and whistling.
    Spiders too for sure.

This weird new hyper-corrective possessive that people use.

“We’re meeting at Sally and I’s apartment.”

    Dreadful.

Didn’t we discuss this exact thing recently and determine that it’s ok to say “we’re meeting at my and sally’s apartment?” Shannon, u were in on it weren’t u? I’m not sure we made an official decision, but that’s how I like it.

I don’t recall this conversation. However, I’ve now conducted a thorough search of my grammar books and the internet, and as far as I can tell “my and Sally’s” is correct, but awkward, and there is very little reason why you would ever say that instead of “we’re meeting at our apartment.” General consensus is that you should always go with the less precise but more pleasant sounding “our”.

Seeing a video of an injury. If I’m right there when something happens I go into the correct state of mind to deal with it. But in videos I have a really hard time with it. I cannot watch real-life surgery shows, and I really despise those reality shows where they show numerous videos of people getting injured, like at sporting events or whatever.

Who’s house are you’uns going to?

The sight of a skunk walking through the McDonalds parking lot as I’m sitting in the drive-through waiting for my food.

    True story….
