Question of the Day:

What was the best senior prank at your High School?

  1. Kevin said,

Every winter, after a nice snow, some of the seniors would build a bunch of snowmen on the school grounds. There was always one that was made to look like a certain part of the male anatomy. The school maintenance crew would come and bulldoze them down but they would get rebuilt within the next day.

don’t think we ever had senior pranks, but a friend of mine and i used to sneak around and leave bows on ppls cars for each holiday. we had all of our friends going for years before they figured out it was us.

That sounds like my high school.

Our people would cover the school mascot with bras. And it was a bison, so it inevitably had a bunch of bras hanging from its horns.

Nicole knows what I’m talkin about.

  4. Shannon said,

In my freshman year, the senior class was known as the hellions, a reputation they’d apparently earned in previous years. During the homecoming pep rally, while the senior skit was in progress and the song “You Dropped the Bomb on Me” was playing, a sulfur bomb went off in the senior section. The gym filled up with yellow smoke and that awful smell, and the pep rally was over immediately.

I think the best thing about this prank was that you couldn’t do this kind of thing in a post-Columbine high school. People would probably panic, and the pranksters would be charged with a crime. When I was in high school, they just would have been suspended. Excellently, no one ever ratted out the architects of this prank.

That’s really awesome! That song cracks me up. A friend of mine is getting married on 9/11 next year, and is getting all kinds of discounts because no one wants to have a wedding on that day. My boyfriend, being the sweet human being he is, suggested they play that song at their reception. Not cool.
