On this day in 1990 – Milli Vanilli was stripped of their Grammy Award because other singers had lent their voices to the “Girl You Know It’s True” album.

How did Milli Vanilli end up with a Grammy in the FIRST place???

Okay, on to the question. I love a chocolate milkshake made by my mother. She is magical with milkshake making. 🙂

      good point on the milli…
um andy, is it a coincidence that milli vanilli shares quite a few letters with vanilla milkshake?

I like the ones at Red Robin because they give you the metal cup that they mix it in along with the shake, so you kind of end up with two. Yum! I like it with their Tower of Onion Rings.

That’s how The Blackberry Patch does it. Gotta love the old fashioned metal cups!

I loved Steak n Shakes chocolate shakes. But, I’d want it with McDonalds fries. Fries with any milk shake are the way to go!

Cookies and cream from Chick fil A. Delilsh, and only 500+ calories!

Either chocolate cake batter from Cold Stone (goes best with whipped cream) or a strawberry shake from The Blackberry Patch in Salem (goes best with a turkey sandwich on a crossiant). Yummy!

The best I’ve ever had is a vanilla shake from a Ben and Jerry’s shop. I think it stands alone perfectly well; no other food needed. And since it’s a tall cup of whole milk and Ben and Jerry’s ice cream, it probably has enough calories to be a meal anyway.

I like the orange and vanilla side by side from steak n shake.
now that i’m thinking of it tho, grandma made the best milk shakes. we would put all kinds of stuff in them-usually bananas, sometimes chocolate, whatever, and too much milk and ice cubes, so they were always a little runny. she had these awesome large, heavy goblets in primary colors, and we always drank our shakes out of those.
we also only had shakes really late at night-it was a tradition. we’d watch the late show (with johnny carson) and play king on the corner (card game) and drink our milk shakes.
    grandma rocks!

I LOVED that song — however, I was only in 5th or 6th grade.

Chocolate from Steak n Shake with the little pot of baked beans AND fries.
