Question of the Day:

Who or what is your favorite celebrity animal?

The Budweiser frogs were pretty funny back in the day.

I’m not really a fan of using real animals for that sorta thing…kind of goes along the same lines of why I won’t go to the circus.

    • spochran said,

I agree with that in regard to wild animals. Chimps especially.

I’ve seen this furry, little, orange character named Hungry in Weight Watcher commercials. I am quite amused by his expressions, esp when he can’t get the women to give into him. He tries so hard…I wish just one of these broads would eat the damned cupcake!

  3. spochran said,

Babe the pig. That was one charming pig.

    • adamthepugh said,

I would like to say – Babe IS awesome.

Also there was a discussion in my house last night of how to phrase this question.

Is it Who is your favorite Celebrity Animal?

or What is your favorite Celebrity Animal?

I think depending on which one you choose – the answers may come back differently. So I included both – thoughts?

      • spochran said,

I prefer who in this case, simply because any animal that is a celebrity also has personality. As Jules says in Pulp Fiction, personality goes a long way.

I admit, however, that I would use a more impersonal word like what or it when referring to an animal with little or no personality. Fish, shellfish, reptiles, etc. would qualify for what in this case.

I think i’m going with Tony the Tiger. he was GRRRREAT! I also liked the Noid (pizza hut right?) and Tucan Sam was cool…
funny, i thought of marketing characters, instead of cartoon characters. i really like
oh, and i think who is most appropriate.
