Ok - it was not this big.

It was 5:20 AM.

I was on may way to my usual Friday morning meeting.

So I am driving down my street and am getting ready to head down Jefferson.

And what do I see in the middle of the road?

A trash can…

Weird.

So I keep driving, thinking:

“Oh someone will get that.”

I make the turn onto Jefferson, yet I notice as I am looking down Seminole – something is amiss…

A chair in the middle of the road?

Another garbage can in the middle of the road?

And a…FIRE?

WHAT?

Did I really just see a fire in the middle of the road?

Well I had already turned at this point, but I made myself turn around because apparently no one was up or had seen it. So I just happened to have a stick in my trunk (to keep my hood propped up to do maintenance) and I got that and tried to spread out the fire so it would not keep burning. It was full of plastic bottles and other assorted garbage – and stinky. So now it is a smoldering mess, so I figured I should call SOMEONE.

So I called 911.

And the lady was very nice, I explained what was going on, and they said they would send someone over to check it out.

And THAT is how random the start of my day was!
